About Me

My name is Kaitlyn Sims. I am 19 years old, and I am from Star Valley, Wyoming. I am a photographer, videographer, writer, and creator. I am studying Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations at BYU-Idaho.

There are a lot of things in life that I feel like people take for granted or overlook sometimes and forget how great they really are. Some of the little things in life that I love are: falling asleep in the car, warm blankets, road trips, sign language, taking pictures, crispy m&ms, crying when I laugh, writing my name, lotion, my cute wall color, singing, running a race, cheeseburgers, good hair days, phone calls, getting compliments, root beer, my siblings, Nauvoo, home improvement shows, missionary emails, cute outfits, holidays, American Idol, Instagram, yummy vegetables, freshly washed hair, little kids hugs, when people call me Kait or Katie, salad, when kids wave at me, missionaries, hitting the folks, new clothes, shopping, naps, my dads laugh, MY BED, and the amazing gospel that is truly light.

Now I'm probably not the most qualified person to be giving words of encouragement, but is it okay if I give a pep talk?

First off. You're living and you take up space, so you know what that means? YOU MATTER. But really though, you do. You have a Heavenly Father who loves you and wants you to become better. He loves to see us happy, and the way to becoming happy is by following His son, Jesus Christ. There is nobody on this earth that knows you better than Heavenly Father and Christ knows you. They know you even more than you know yourself. Christ knows every feeling you've ever felt. Isn't that so comforting? I don't know about you but I think that that is SO cool to know that there is someone who has gone through what I feel and who is always there. Always. No matter what. Another thing, please never forget your worth. You truly are so amazing! You are a child of God. You matter.
